Description

We are seeking a Sr. Software Engineer to join our remote team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in driving programming activities, leading complex projects, and providing technical leadership to our development team. You will be involved in every aspect of the software development lifecycle, from translating customer requirements into technical requirements, to implementing solutions and conducting testing to ensure code integrity.

Responsibilities:

• Leading and participating in the design and implementation of large, complex projects, adhering to set project delivery processes.

• Performing code development, adhering to established programming/development guidelines.

• Conducting unit and integration testing to validate and ensure code integrity.

• Providing technical leadership to development teams and collaborating with other senior-level developers.

• Assisting in the architectural design of major/strategic projects and recommending technical performance improvements.

• Participating and supporting the development team during production deploys and acting as the primary contact for deploys.

• Interacting regularly with cross-functional teams to gather and disseminate information regarding product builds and progress.

• Leveraging existing code or utilities and seeking opportunities for reuse.

• Offering production support as aligned with service level agreements and participating in post-production support.

• Demonstrating problem-solving relating to code, documentation, and recurring problems, and resolving issues individually or as a team member.

• Translating customer requirements into technical requirements and helping drive the estimation process.

Requirements • Significant experience in API Development is required.

• Proficiency in ASP.NET and .NET Core is essential.

• Demonstrated ability in Object Oriented Development is necessary.

• Experience with RabbitMQ is a must.

• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think logically.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

• Proven track record of managing multiple tasks while meeting strict deadlines.

• Must be able to demonstrate a high level of confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
