Robert Half Accounts Receivable Specialist in Grand Rapids, Michigan
Description We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team located in Grand Rapids, Michigan. In this role, you will be part of our industry-leading team, focusing on processing customer credit applications, maintaining customer records, and handling customer inquiries. You will also monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and process customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency.
• Maintain and update customer credit records regularly.
• Resolve customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Monitor customer accounts regularly and take appropriate actions when needed.
• Use software such as Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP to track and manage account receivables.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis and report creation.
• Coordinate with the team to ensure accurate billing processes.
• Apply cash applications and cash collections techniques to manage customer payments.
• Leverage your skills in account reconciliation to ensure accuracy in accounts receivable.
• Employ your knowledge in commercial collections to maintain healthy customer accounts. Requirements • Proficient in account reconciliation and accounts receivable (AR)
• Experience in billing and cash applications
• Competency in handling cash collections and commercial collections
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with Oracle software
• Familiarity with QuickBooks software
• Knowledge of SAP software
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (desired but not required)
• Prior experience in an Accounts Receivable role (desired but not required)
