Robert Half Project Manager: III (Senior) in Grand Rapids, Michigan

Description We are seeking a Project Manager/Sr. Consultant based in GRAND RAPIDS, Michigan. The successful candidate will manage the entire project lifecycle from project definition through implementation. This role involves working closely with various teams and stakeholders in the telecom industry.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the entire project lifecycle from project definition through implementation

• Accountable for meeting agreed upon scope, cost, schedule, and quality measures

• Develop project plan and drive project milestones

• Establish effective communication plan with project team and key stakeholders

• Provide day-to-day direction to project resources

• Ensure effective change management occurs throughout the course of the project

• Responsible for preparation of documentation, status reports, and budgets

• Develop and execute comprehensive project plans tailored to the retail enterprise environment

• Define project milestones and success criteria specific to cross-functional initiatives

• Liaise with business retail operations teams, IT departments, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of project objectives with retail business needs

• Provide regular project updates to retail leadership, incorporating feedback, and addressing concerns to maintain stakeholder engagement Requirements • Proven experience in a Project Management or Senior Consultant role.

• Outstanding communication and effective interpersonal skills.

• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.

• Solid experience in project planning and implementation.

• Strong leadership skills, able to guide a team and liaise with stakeholders effectively.

• Ability to execute plans and manage change.

• Experience in retail and dealing with vendors.

• Proficient in budget processes and financial planning.

• Excellent documentation and analytical skills.

• Strong negotiation skills, able to manage contracts and agreements.

• Knowledge of quality assurance and project management methodologies.

• Ability to work onsite when required.

• Capable of making informed and effective decisions.

• Experience in change management processes.
