Description
We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Human Resources (HR) Administrator specializing in Payroll & Benefits within the service industry. Located in Grand Rapids, Michigan, this role involves managing the payroll process for a team of under 100 employees.
Responsibilities:
• Processing payroll in an accurate and timely manner
• Serving as the primary contact for employee inquiries related to payroll and benefits
• Managing general HR tasks beyond payroll and benefits
• Utilizing Sage/Timberline ERP system for various HR functions
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
• Administering benefits functions and compensation administration
• Maintaining strong employee relations
• Leveraging HRMS and About Time for efficient HR management
• Managing the full cycle of payroll processing

Requirements
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Human Resources role, preferably as a Manager.
• Proficiency in using ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode.
• Familiarity with Ceridian, HRMS, and About Time software.
• Ability to manage Benefit Functions and Compensation Administration effectively.
• Knowledge of Compliance regulations and standards in Human Resources.
• Strong skills in Employee Relations.
• Experience with Sage Timberline and Sage Timberline Software.
• Capability to handle Full Cycle Payroll.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field is preferred.
• Professional certification in Human Resources (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM) is an advantage.
