Description
Robert Half Management Resources is currently looking for an interim Accounting Manager or small-company Controller to support an engagement with a Real Estate industry client in Columbus, OH. The interim Accounting Manager will provide wide-ranging general accounting support to the client reporting to the company's fractional CFO. Duties will include things such as: month-end close, property accounting, journal entries, reconciliations, banking transactions, etc. Role is intended to provide interim support for a few months until the permanent position is filled (contractor may be considered for the permanent role if desired, but not a requirement). Role is based onsite at the client's location in Columbus, OH.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage all accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Perform bank reconciliations to ensure financial integrity and transparency.
• Utilize AppFolio software for financial management and reporting.
• Prepare detailed financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Implement and manage budget processes to guide our financial decisions.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
• Utilize Paychex Payroll for payroll processing and management.
• Lead the financial planning and forecasting processes.
• Communicate financial information and insights to non-financial team members.
• Continually assess and improve financial processes and systems.
Requirements
• Proficiency in handling Accounting Functions
• Experience with AppFolio software a plus
• Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations effectively
• Knowledge of Budget Processes
• Understanding of Compliance requirements in financial sector
• Capability to produce accurate Financial Reports
• Experience with Paychex Payroll system
