Roseann Mabry from Robert Half is partnering with a growing manufacturing company in Illinois to place an Human Resource Coordinator on a direct hire basis. The Human Resource Coordinator will be part of a 3 person team to handle recruiting and employee relations for 2 locations in Illinois. There is a 3rd out of state location that would not fall under you. The role will have 40% recruiting, 40% employee relations and 20% HR administrative duties. They are wanting this HR Coordinator to the ability to converse in Spanish. The annual salary for the Human Resource Coordinator will be up to 62K. What you get to do every single day
-Employee relations
Prepare and update employment records for terminations, new hires, promotions, and transfers
open enrollment programs
Assist with making updates to internal policies and procedures under the general guidance of the HR leadership team
Develop and provide orientation and onboarding to new employees
Oversee the hiring process job postings, screening applicants' resumes, performing candidate background checks
Schedule and conduct candidate interviews
Requirements
Proficient in social media platforms as well as technology applications and software
-Must Speak conversational Spanish
Should possess working knowledge of HR functions and procedures, including compensation and benefits, recruitment, training and development, and managing employee relations
Prior recruiting or HR experience
May require a bachelor's degree in HR or a professional certification in human resources, business management, or a related field
Knowledge of laws at the federal, state, and local level
Prior experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
Fantastic interpersonal and communications skills are a must
