What you get to do every single day
Utilize a number of sources to create statements and reports
Post financial information to journals and ledgers
Classify documents with the proper expenditure codes and accounting codes
File vendor invoices and disbursements and match & file A/P invoices to support accounts payable
Support Accounts Receivable by processing daily invoices/credit, applying cash receipts, and helping with collection of past due balances
Reconcile discrepancies by checking all possible sources of disagreement, reconstructing probable actions, and recognizing the effect on other accounts; prepare correction documents as required
Help with G/L account reconciliation and month-end closing, and other general accounting projects
Carry out other related duties and work on special projects as assigned

Prior knowledge in Spreadsheet and ERP system
Outstanding data entry skills
Ability to multitask and communicate well with individuals of all backgrounds
Accounts Receivable (AR) experience preferred
Well-founded grasp of Journal Entry
Experience with financial reporting
Proven knowledge of journal entries
Foundational knowledge in Collection Processes
Solid understanding of Accounts Payable (AP)
Strong familiarity with Microsoft Excel
Practical knowledge of budgeting
Quality experience with Budget Processes
General familiarity with Journal Entry Preparation
AA or BS/BA in Accounting or related field preferred
