Robert Half Inside Sales Administrator in Gray Court, South Carolina


The Inside Sales Administrator will be a key member of the sales team, responsible for providing administrative support to the sales staff, managing customer relations, and reviewing contracts to ensure compliance and accuracy. This individual ensures the accuracy and compliance of sales contracts, while also maintaining a smooth sales

operation. The role demands a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a solid foundation in sales principles. With a focus on efficiency and effectiveness, the Inside Sales Administrator plays a critical role in the success of the sales team and the satisfaction of our clients.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

▪ Provide administrative support to the sales team.

▪ Review, prepare, and manage sales and purchase contracts.

▪ Negotiate contract terms with internal and external business partners.

▪ Ensure that all contracts comply with legal requirements and company policies.

▪ Analyze potential risks involved with specific contract terms.

▪ Maintain organized records of contracts and customer interactions.

▪ Liaise with other departments to ensure smooth sales operations.

▪ Assist in the development of sales reports and performance analysis.

▪ Utilize various customer bid submittal software platforms.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

▪ Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with internal and external customers.

▪ Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines and work under pressure.

▪ Excellent time management skills.

▪ Ability to work independently with little supervision.

▪ Ability to solve complex problems and utilize critical thinking skills.

▪ Ability to be flexible and help in other areas, as necessary.

▪ Ability to recognize opportunities for improvement (individual and company-wide) and provide ideas and suggestions.

▪ Strong Microsoft Office skills required (Outlook, Word, Excel, Publisher, and PowerPoint).


Education and Experience:

▪ Bachelor’s degree in business administration or relevant field preferred; or 4 years of progressive experience in a manufacturing/sales environment. Other combinations of education and experience may be considered.

▪ Proven experience as an Inside Sales Administrator or similar role.

▪ A strong understanding of sales performance metrics.

▪ Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.

▪ Ability to work under strict deadlines.

▪ Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

▪ Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.

▪ Attention to detail with an ability to spot errors and inconsistencies in contracts.

▪ Must have a valid driver’s license
