Robert Half HR Generalist in GREELEY, Colorado
Description If you love Human Resources and you're looking for an engaging, new Generalist opportunity, Robert Half has the opportunity for you as a Human Resources Generalist. In this role, you will perform various HR duties, including recruiting, conducting new hire orientation, updating the employee handbook, and managing employee relations.
Responsibilities
Draft templates for HR documents, including the Employee Handbook
Develop onboarding plans and train newly hired employees on HR policies, internal procedures, and regulations
Manage employee relations, including coordinating sensitive conversations and engaging employee
Compare federal, state, and local laws to current internal policies and procedures
Conduct employee performance reviews, including assisting with annual reviews, appraising pay scales, and coordinating disciplinary action (including terminations if necessary)
Work with other members of the HR department to oversee the hiring and onboarding process for new company employees
Manage digital and physical files for employees and their documents, including benefits, attendance records, and annual reviews
Develop a recruitment plan according to operational and business projections
Create official internal documents such as offer letters, appointment letters, salary adjustments, updates to the employee handbook, leave of absences, and warning/termination letters
Responsible for completing various tasks to support the daily operations of the HR department
Develop employee engagement plans, including budget approvals and management oversite
Collaborate with employees, upper management, and third-party vendors Requirements - Full cycle recruiting experience
Prior experience or knowledge managing Open Enrollment is a plus
Prior HR experience in a Generalist capacity
Experience using Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
Excellent written and verbal business skills
Strong knowledge of local, state and federal laws
B.A. or B.S. degree preferred, preferably with a Human Resources or Psychology emphasis
Proficient with social media platforms as well as office computer applications and software
- This position's duties require a person who is highly professional; able to use good judgment and maintain a high level of confidentiality and sensitivity
Desire to thrive in scenarios of team-based work or independent tasks, always looking to learn more and take initiative on a number of different projects and tasks
