Robert Half Financial Analyst in Greensboro, North Carolina

Description We are offering a role in the Transportation Equipment Manufacturing industry, located in Greensboro, North Carolina. The job function is that of a Financial Analyst, and the successful candidate will play a crucial role in our accounting team, providing analysis and metrics for financial core processes, as well as supporting our field operating locations.

Responsibilities will include:

• Providing operational planning and analytical support for various processes.

• Supporting the Accounting Department in operational and financial reviews.

• Handling key monthly accounting activities, including the monthly close process and balance sheet reconciliations.

• Supporting planning and forecasting of business results.

• Working alongside Directors and VPs of Operations to monitor and analyze financial results.

• Preparing required variance analysis and explanations to plan or forecast, understanding the impact of volumes, scope, and inefficiencies.

• Performing monthly balance sheet reconciliations in OneStream.

• Identifying, capturing, and reporting on key performance indicators.

• Driving continuous improvement projects to reduce cost structures or improve operating efficiencies.

Skills needed for this role include proficiency in Accounting Software Systems, understanding of Accounting Functions, familiarity with Budget Processes and Expense Reporting, knowledge of Finance and GAAP Accounting, as well as experience in Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation and Ad Hoc Financial Analysis. Requirements • Must have at least 1 year of experience as a Financial Analyst

• Proficient in Accounting Software Systems

• Knowledgeable in various Accounting Functions

• Familiar with Budget Processes

• Capable of conducting Expense Reporting

• Strong understanding of Finance principles

• Proficiency in GAAP Accounting

• Experience in Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation

• Ability to perform Ad Hoc Financial Analysis

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred

• Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

• Detail-oriented and able to multitask effectively

• Proficient in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel

• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
