Robert Half Payroll Administrator in Greensboro, North Carolina

Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Payroll Administrator to join our client's team, based in Greensboro, North Carolina. As a Payroll Administrator, you will be tasked with managing payroll operations for both domestic and international locations, reconciling time clock and attendance issues, and generating reports to support various business teams. You will also be responsible for maintaining employee payroll records and adhering to local, state, and federal payroll regulations.

Responsibilities include:

• Processing and reconciling time records to ensure accurate Paid Time Off balances

• Administering multi-state payroll disbursement, including garnishments, benefits, and taxes in line with federal and state wage and hour laws

• Maintaining data integrity of payroll systems and ensuring compliance with company payroll policies and procedures

• Responding to inquiries and special requests from regulatory agencies, ensuring adherence to local, state, and federal payroll regulations

• Coordinating with outside payroll service providers to calculate, print checks, and prepare total payroll reports

• Communicating frequently and promptly with supervisors and employees to ensure accurate and timely reporting

• Resolving employee discrepancies in a timely manner to ensure correct Paid Time Off charges

• Assisting with HR audits and performing employment verifications

• Championing company culture, ethics, and values while addressing employee or customer concerns.

Requirements • Proficient with Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now

• Knowledge of Ceridian and Crystal Reports

• Familiarity with 401k - RRSP Administration

• Experience with About Time software

• Strong understanding of accounting functions

• Experience in auditing

• Familiarity with benefit functions

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Ability to work in a team and independently

• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field preferred

• Prior experience in a similar role is a plus.
