Robert Half Quality Coordinator in Greenville, South Carolina
Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Quality Coordinator in Greenville, South Carolina. This role involves managing and maintaining our Quality Management System and ISO 9001 certification status. As a Quality Coordinator, you will be working in a complex environment, managing issue-tracking logs, monitoring performance data, and initiating process improvement activities. You will also play a key role in resolving the disposition of non-conforming parts and coordinating internal and customer audits.
Responsibilities:
• Implement initiatives to maintain the company’s Quality Management System and ISO 9001 certification status
• Manage issue-tracking logs including non-conformance notes, corrective action requests, and customer complaints
• Monitor performance by gathering relevant data and producing statistical reports
• Initiate process improvement activities and work with affected areas to implement changes
• Identify quality-related training needs and provide training as needed
• Specify quality requirements of raw materials and finished goods from suppliers
• Resolve disposition of non-conforming parts
• Coordinate internal, customer, and 3rd party audits
• Support Quality Control Inspector in various tasks including receiving inspections, deviations, and calibration
• Support Quality Control & Service Inspector in ensuring the quality of rebuilds and assemblies
• Perform calibration of inspection equipment. Requirements • Must hold a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Quality Coordinator or in a similar role.
• Proficient in using software like 3M, Dcs, About Time, and IBM AS/400.
• Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and ERP Solutions is necessary.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with different teams.
• Experience in customer service is mandatory.
• Proficiency in forecasting and KPI Reporting.
• Must be able to handle and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work in a team as well as independently.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data.
• Familiarity with quality standards and processes.
