Description
We are seeking a dedicated Tax Manager to join our team in Greenville, South Carolina. This role is vital in managing and overseeing the company's bookkeeping, payroll, and tax preparation departments. The Tax Manager will also prepare tax returns and related documentation, while communicating effectively with the IRS as required.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the company's bookkeeping, payroll, and tax preparation departments
• Prepare tax returns and related documents
• Communicate effectively with the IRS as required
• Utilize QuickBooks and other accounting software systems to maintain accurate financial records
• Exhibit strong management skills to ensure smooth operation of all departments
• Conduct auditing and compliance checks as necessary
• Assist in entity formation and income tax accounting
• Use ADP, QuickBooks, CCH ProSystem Fx, and CCH Sales Tax
• Possess the capability to double and triple the current capacity based on performance
• Work towards moving into a management role if suitable
• Proficient in Accounting Software Systems, ADP - Financial Services, CCH ProSystem Fx, and CCH Sales Tax
• Strong Accounting Functions and Auditing skills
• Familiarity with Compliance, Entity Formation, and Income Tax Accounting
Requirements • Proficient in Accounting Software Systems

• Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
• Understanding of Accounting Functions
• Experience in Auditing
• Ability to ensure Compliance with tax laws and regulations
• Experience in Entity Formation
• Proficiency in Income Tax Accounting
• Ability to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used
• Strong understanding of financial and accounting procedures
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills
• Sharp time management skills
• Strong ethics, with an ability to manage confidential data
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field
