Description
My client, rapidly growing in healthcare industry, PE backed company, are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Manager/Supervisor to join their team based in Greenwich, Connecticut. The role will involve overseeing various accounting functions. Fun outgoing group. Growth mode company!
Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and auditing
• Manage the execution of month-end and quarter-end close procedures
• Prepare revenue accounting, cost accounting, and SG& A
• Ensure compliance with ASC 606 and ASC 842 accounting standards
• Conduct regular billing functions and manage customer credit records
• Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate action for delinquent payments
• Collaborate with the team to drive the growth of the company
• Regularly commute to the office location in Greenwich, CT.
Requirements
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Accounting Manager/Supervisor
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services
• Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
• Knowledge of ERP Solutions
• Ability to perform Accounting Functions
• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Competency in Auditing
• Experience in Billing Functions
• Knowledge of Revenue Accounting
• Familiarity with ASC 606 and ASC 842
• Ability to work collaboratively and lead a team
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Professional accounting certification, such as CPA or CMA, is preferred.
