Robert Half International Financial Analyst in Greenwood, Delaware
Description
If you're looking for a long-term temporary-to-full-time Financial Analyst position this could be the position for you! You will be our client's primary point of contact for all financial issues, including project spending, planning, forecasting, and annual budgeting. The candidate will be responsible for performing analysis of the operating results and financial performance of core business segments supporting public reporting requirements, and provide decision-making support for future company investments.
What you get to do every single day
Prepare monthly and quarterly management reporting – analyzing financial results, distill key trends, assessing current and future business risk, and communicating critical updates to senior leadership
Implement financial analysis as part of business performance optimization
Provide dynamic support for all ad-hoc analysis and presentation requests
Capable of communicating updates to senior management, analyzing financial results, and distilling/synthesizing key issues in the course of advancing existing management reporting
Track financial results with greater accuracy and discretion by working with Operating and Accounting to drive improved management reporting
Build advantageous relationships with integral business partners and Finance/Accounting leadership
Create a sustainable business, operational, and financial processes widely understood by all necessary teams
Coordinate with Functional leads to draft management reporting, accounting, and compliance advisement, and guarantee alignment of operational initiatives
Requirements
Able to think critically and operate effectively with management
Well-versed in-office systems, reporting software, databases, and other BI tools recommended
Finance or Business BA/BS degree or one in a related field required
Microsoft Excel experience required
Foundational knowledge in Complex Financial Analysis
Profit Loss experience highly desired
SAP experience
