Robert Half's Full Charge Bookkeeper position in the Professional Services field is something you might be interested in. The Full Charge Bookkeeper position is a short-term contract / temporary to hire opportunity in Greenwood Village, Colorado. If you're comfortable with establishing and maintaining the organization's accounting principles, practices, procedures, and initiatives, as well as all general accounting and bookkeeping functions, including the preparation of financial statements, you could be a good candidate for this position.

The bookkeeper performs mid to advanced level accounting functions including but not limited to:

  • CC and Banks statement reconciliations

  • Month end and annual closing

  • Financial reporting and analysis

  • Cash transactions

  • Invoicing, coding and matching

  • Journal entries and accounting commission payouts for payroll

  • Plays a role in assisting with year-end audits

  • Summarize current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports

Requirements - Aptitude for analyzing financial data and generating accurate reports in a timely manner

  • A thorough knowledge of accrual and cash basis of accounting

  • High school diploma or comparable diploma with an AA degree or higher in Accounting or Business preferred

    • Proficiency with Excel, Quickbooks, and Peachtree
  • Able to work independently with a minimal amount of oversight

  • 3+ years of experience in the bookkeeping field

  • Command of Invoice

  • Comprehensive knowledge of full charge bookkeeping

  • Account reconciliation experience preferred

  • General familiarity with year end closings

  • Deep understanding of Enter Invoices

  • Proven knowledge of reconciliations

  • Well-founded grasp of month end closings

  • Bank reconciliations experience

  • Payroll experience preferred

  • Possess strong organizational and follow-up skills

  • Proven flexibility to adapt to changes in procedures and job assignments

  • Ability to multitask and communicate effectively with individuals of all backgrounds
