Robert Half Human Resources (HR) Administrator in GREENWOOD VILLAGE, Colorado
Description A growing client is working with Robert Half to hire a Human Resources Manager. The HR Manager is responsible for overseeing personnel and daily operations of the human resources department. How you will make an impact
Explore compensation standards set by industry and governing bodies in order to create salary structures and administer employee benefits
Inform employees such that they follow all policies and procedures
Monitor and implement applicable human resource federal and state requirements, conduct investigations, maintain records, and represent the organization at hearings
Represent your team at interdepartmental meetings with other managers
Head up all HR activities, communications, reports, requests and documents created and received by the team
Put in place management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures
Organize historical human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system and keeping past and current records
Oversee exit interviews and procedures
Build up the organization's human resources department by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices
Monitor reports provided by the HR team, team leaders and operations managers to determine employee performance and training needs
Manage human resource staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees
Create recruitment plans, interview schedules and evaluation standards in accordance with HR methodologies and labor laws Requirements - Background in handling confidential business matters and information with discretion
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are a must
PHR/SPHR or other relevant certifications are desired
A comprehension of the key principles of employment law and EEOC regulations
Adept to problem-solving and conflict resolution
Wide knowledge of HR policies, benefits administration, compensation and wage structure
1+ years of supervisory experience within human resources
Familiarity with HR software and working knowledge of MS Office
Strong communication skills and able to receive criticism well
Ability to view issues objectively
Unimpeachable ethics, integrity, and standards
Bachelor's degree in human resources or similar field
5+ years in human resources
