Description

We are seeking an Accounts Payable candidate for an exciting role in Greer, SC. This role involves the processing and tracking of payments and expenditures. You will be working in a bustling environment, ensuring that the company's bills are paid effectively and promptly.

Responsibilities:

• Match, batch, code, and enter invoices into the system.

• Enter, post, and reconcile batches to ensure accurate record-keeping.

• Research and resolve accounts payable or accounts receivable issues with customers or vendors.

• Update and reconcile sub-ledger to the general ledger for consistent financial reporting.

• Maintain cash applications, account reconciliations, and chargebacks.

• Utilize skills in Accounts Payable (AP), SAP, Code Invoices, Enter Invoices for efficient and accurate job completion.

• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth operations.

• Adhere to company policies and procedures related to accounts payable.

• Support other team members and departments as necessary.

• Continuously improve payment processes and systems to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) is essential

• Experience with SAP software is required

• Ability to code invoices effectively is necessary

• Must be able to accurately enter invoices into accounting systems

• Prior experience in a manufacturing industry is beneficial

• Strong numerical and analytical skills are needed

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy are crucial

• Good communication and interpersonal skills are necessary

• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is required

• Ability to multitask and prioritize work according to deadlines

• Strong organizational and time management skills are important

• Must have a strong understanding of accounting principles

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information is required

• Must be a team player with a proactive approach to tasks.
