Robert Half Desktop Support Analyst in Greer, South Carolina

Description We are in search of a Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in Greer, South Carolina. This role is vital to our IT operations, providing support for a variety of technical issues, ranging from network connectivity to warehouse and manufacturing equipment issues. As a Desktop Support Analyst, you will work collaboratively with various teams and prioritize tasks to ensure efficient resolution of IT issues.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot various technical issues including network connectivity, warehouse, and manufacturing equipment issues

• Identify recurring technical issues and implement solutions to enhance business productivity

• Collaborate with manufacturing engineering, application engineering, infrastructure engineering, and business teams to resolve high-impact incidents promptly

• Build relationships with various teams by understanding their workflows to provide effective technical assistance

• Prioritize tickets on IT Helpdesk ServiceNow to ensure timely updates and resolutions for local and remote users

• Conduct independent research, gather relevant data, and resolve issues using a data-driven approach

• Familiarize yourself with the technical aspects of manufacturing management/automation systems to support manufacturing processes

• Utilize skills in Microsoft, Active Directory, Computer Hardware, Deskside Support, and End User Training to effectively perform tasks and support users

• Ensure safe operation around high voltage manufacturing equipment.

• Experience with Active Directory

• Expertise in Computer Hardware maintenance and troubleshooting

• Proven ability in Deskside Support

• Ability to provide effective End User Training

• Excellent problem-solving skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Proven ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks

• Experience with IT ticketing systems

• Knowledge of network protocols and infrastructure

• Experience in customer support and service

• Willingness to stay updated on the latest technology and software updates

• Flexibility to work in shifts or provide on-call support if required
