Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity in the construction industry located in Greer, South Carolina. We are seeking a diligent Dispatcher to join our team. The selected candidate will play a critical role in managing communication lines, ensuring smooth operations, and serving as a reliable liaison between various stakeholders.
Responsibilities
• Efficiently handle incoming and outgoing communications, keeping all involved parties updated on the status of construction projects.
• Maintain accurate records of customer accounts and handle any inquiries with professionalism and courtesy.
• Process customer credit applications with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring all data is accurate and up-to-date.
• Monitor customer accounts regularly and take appropriate actions when necessary.
• Utilize dispatching skills to manage work orders effectively, ensuring all tasks are assigned and completed in a timely manner.
• Act as a liaison between customers and the team, ensuring clear and effective communication at all times.
• Maintain compliance with guidelines and regulations, including HIPAA and Medicare, when handling customer data and communications.
• Handle inbound calls professionally, ensuring each customer receives a high level of service.
• Manage the appointment and scheduling process, ensuring all data is properly entered and updated.
• Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth operations and efficient workflow. Requirements • Proficient in dispatching tasks within a construction or contractor setting.
• Solid understanding of the construction industry and its related processes.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective coordination.
• Familiarity with construction equipment and materials.
• Ability to work under pressure and make decisions quickly.
• Knowledge of geographical areas to optimize dispatch routes.
• Proficiency in using dispatching software and tools.
• Exceptional organizational skills to keep track of all dispatched items.
• Ability to solve problems and handle unexpected situations efficiently.
• Experience in customer service, addressing queries and concerns related to dispatch.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and guidelines in the construction industry.
• Ability to work in a team and collaborate effectively with others.
