Robert Half Customer Service Representative in Hackettstown, New Jersey

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Customer Service Representative in Hackettstown, New Jersey. This role is central to our manufacturing operations and involves handling customer orders and inquiries, particularly related to international orders and shipments. The chosen candidate will be part of an evolving team, responsible for maintaining customer satisfaction and driving our business forward.

Responsibilities:

• Handling customer inquiries and providing efficient customer support via email

• Accurate entry and processing of customer orders for parts and instruments

• Coordinating order shipments, liaising with couriers and freight forwarders as required

• Issuing Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) numbers to customers and managing return logistics

• Following up on manufacturer defects to ensure customer satisfaction

• Using CRM systems to manage customer relationships and order processing

• Assisting customers with any issues or queries they have regarding their orders or shipments

• Utilizing Microsoft Excel for spreadsheet creation and simple calculations

• Communicating with Spanish-speaking customers, if applicable

• Adhering to company policies and procedures, ensuring a high level of customer service is maintained at all times. Requirements • Proficiency in CRM - Customer Relationship Management software

• Demonstrated ability to assist customers in a professional and courteous manner

• Experience in order entry and processing customer shipments

• Excellent customer service and customer support skills

• Ability to effectively resolve customer issues

• Proficiency in the Spanish language

• Experience in a manufacturing industry is desirable

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• High attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to work in a team as well as independently

• Excellent problem-solving skills

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

• Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of professionalism in all interactions

• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
