Robert Half Medical Billing Specialist in Hackettstown, New Jersey
Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Medical Billing Specialist in Hackettstown, New Jersey. In this role, you will be part of a team that works within the healthcare industry, dealing with customer applications, maintaining customer records, and resolving customer inquiries. You will also be tasked with monitoring customer accounts and taking necessary actions.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately and efficiently process customer credit applications.
• Maintain precise records of customer credit.
• Handle and resolve customer inquiries related to medical billing.
• Monitor and manage customer accounts for any discrepancies.
• Use EHR SYSTEM for managing electronic health records.
• Utilize Allscripts and Cerner Technologies for healthcare management.
• Use Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE) to facilitate data exchange and communication.
• Use Epaces for electronic processing of medical claims.
• Handle Accounts Receivable (AR) functions.
• Oversee the administration of medical claims and the appeals process.
• Manage Benefit and Billing Functions. Requirements • Proficient in using Allscripts software for medical billing and coding
• Experience with Cerner Technologies to manage patient health information
• Familiarity with Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE) for data communication
• Proficient in using EHR System for electronic health records
• Knowledge of Epaces for electronic medical billing
• Proficient in managing Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Experience with appeals process in medical billing
• Understanding of Benefit Functions within medical billing
• Proficient in executing Billing Functions in a healthcare setting
• Experience with Claim Administration in medical billing.
