Robert Half Accounting Analyst in HADDONFIELD, New Jersey


In this Accounting Analyst position, you will be respected for the value you bring to the company. A dynamic company is looking for an Accounting Analyst who will drive for results. Your responsibilities will include the creation of large volume of monthly client invoices and supporting documentation, collection of Accounts Receivable, analysis of project and client business metrics and posting of revenue and adjustments for the finance department.

How you will make an impact:

· Providing client service regarding collection issues, process client refunds, process, and review account adjustments, resolve client discrepancies and short payments.

· Accountable for reducing delinquency for assigned accounts including but not limited to, monthly client statements of account, meeting with clients, follow-up with project managers, etc.

· Ability to understand when to enlist the efforts of client representatives and senior management to accelerate the collection process.

· Establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with co-workers and clients.

· Process large volume of monthly client invoices and supporting documentation

· Create chargeable project numbers with billing terms

· Review RFP’s, Contracts, and client requirements for invoicing

· Manages and completes all projects as assigned.


The ideal Accounting Analyst candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent combination of education.

Other requirements for the Accounting Analyst position include and are not limited to:

· Municipal accounting background a plus

· 5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, data analysis or similar role

· Knowledge of NJ Municipal Land Use Law a plus

· Knowledge of Edmonds Municipal Escrow System a plus

· Ability to complete work on schedule with extreme accuracy and detail

· High degree of self-motivation and independent decision making with exemplary follow up skills

· Solid organizational skills with ability to prioritize tasks and manage time

· Excellent interpersonal skills

· Strong analytical skills

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
