Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Staff Accountant near Hagerstown, Maryland. This role will involve general accounting, account reconciliation, and analysis.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing and posting journal entries to maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts • Assisting with the closing processes at the end of the month and year • Preparing financial statements and reports to keep track of the company's financial status • Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and policies to maintain financial integrity • Performing other duties as assigned to support the overall accounting function • Utilizing skills in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) to manage company finances • Conducting bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial records • Using software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for efficient and accurate accounting operations • Handling tasks related to general ledger, journal entries, and month-end close activities. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) operations

• Experience in Bank Reconciliations

• Familiarity with General Ledger management

• Ability to prepare and analyze Journal Entries

• Competence in performing Month End Close procedures

• Knowledge of NetSuite software

• Proficiency in using Oracle for financial operations

• Expertise in QuickBooks software for accounting tasks

• Experience in handling financial processes in SAP

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Commitment to continuous learning and detail oriented development in the field of accounting.
