Description
We are in the healthcare industry, specifically located in Hamilton, New Jersey, and are seeking a Medical Receptionist on a temporary basis. This role primarily involves serving as the first point of contact for patients, managing appointments, and assisting with administrative tasks. The workplace environment is dynamic and fast-paced, requiring a professional who can efficiently manage multiple tasks.
Responsibilities:
• Utilize the medical system to maintain and update patient records
• Verify medical insurance details of patients to ensure accurate billing
• Schedule appointments for patients, considering their convenience and the availability of medical professionals
• Provide assistance to patients during their visit, ensuring their comfort and addressing their queries
• Check patients in and out, ensuring smooth coordination of appointments
• Contact patients for appointment reminders or follow-ups, as required
• Direct patients to the appropriate departments or personnel within the healthcare facility
• Register new patients into the healthcare system, ensuring all necessary details are accurately captured.
Requirements
• Skilled in Medical Insurance Verification
• Ability to Schedule Appointments efficiently and accurately
• Demonstrated capability to Assist Patients in a professional and empathetic manner
• Prior experience in Checking Patients in and out of medical facilities
• Proficient in Contacting Patients for appointment reminders and follow-ups
• Ability to Direct Patients within the facility to the correct departments or individuals
• Experience in Registering Patients, including gathering and entering patient data.
