Robert Half Accounting Manager/Supervisor in Hampton, New Hampshire

Description

Robert Half is looking for a talented individual to work with a thriving company as an Accounting Manager. This is a successful organization that will recognize your efforts. If you can lead daily operations, such as preparing and/or reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger system, preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, and assisting with regulatory reporting as applicable, you might be right for this position. Candidates with the ability to create and monitor the company's accounting and finance operations preferred. This Accounting Manager role is based in the Hampton, New Hampshire area and is a permanent employment opportunity that is not to be missed!

Your responsibilities

  • Play key role in implementation of NetSuite Financials including system and process design, data migration, testing, training, and go-forward system administration

  • Prepare various technical accounting analyses, policies, and procedures

  • Lead and supervise the accounting team performance during the closing process to ensure close deadlines are met

  • Work closely with FP& A and accounting management to create relevant and timely reports on financial data analytics like the monthly flash report, key financial metrics, and actual spend against budgets/outlook

  • Regular review and analysis of balance sheet and income statement accounts owned by Senior Accountant

  • Command sufficient knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems

  • Assist in preparing GAAP financial statements through data analysis, document preparation, integrity validation, and reconciliation processes

    Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent degree and/or experience

  • Proven technical skills

  • Supervising experience

  • Proven knowledge of general ledger

  • Accounts Receivable (AR) experience

  • Comprehensive knowledge of Full Cycle Accounting

  • Well-founded grasp of journal entries

  • Strong familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP)

  • Expertise in GAAP Accounting

  • Active problem-solver who listens for customer cues and actively resolves problems with grace and integrity

  • Customer service oriented communication skills

  • Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable

  • Recent relevant financial experience
