Job Title: Project Analyst

Company: Labcorp

Overview: The main function of a Project Analyst is to interact with different departments across the Labcorp enterprise to provide information in response to inquiries about services and to manage and resolve complaints. A Project Analyst is responsible for determining client and patient issues, offering workable solutions, or providing follow-up as needed. They facilitate the investigation, documentation review, and follow-up of client, patient, and internal concerns and complaints submitted through the Labcorp system.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Interact with various departments to provide information in response to inquiries about services.

  • Manage and resolve client and patient complaints.

  • Determine the issues faced by clients and patients and offer workable solutions or provide necessary follow-up.

  • Facilitate the investigation, documentation review, and follow-up of concerns and complaints.

  • Approve the resolution of client and patient service issues by authorizing activities such as investigations, corrective actions, root cause analysis, and effectiveness reviews.

  • Function as an escalation point for clients and patients.

  • Approve the referral of unresolved customer grievances to designated departments for further investigation.

  • Review, monitor, and audit records of operations, interactions, and transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, comments, and actions taken.

  • Obtain and examine all relevant information to assess the validity of complaints and determine probable causes.

  • Escalate unresolved issues promptly to the appropriate persons.

  • Report high-risk cases to executive-level management.

    Requirements

Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Outstanding customer service skills

  • Effective interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently

  • Proficient in documenting and recording client and patient information accurately

  • Computer literate, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email

Education/Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • 10 years of customer service-related experience required
