Robert Half Accounts Payable Supervisor/Manager in HANOVER, Maryland
Description
Keep accounts maintained and organized as an Accounts Payable Lead in an industry-leading company on a contract to hire basis through Robert Half. Processing expense reports, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L, processing checks, resolving A/P issues, and matching, batching, and coding invoices are just a few of the responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Lead. This position requires people who have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of accounting and its principles, hands on, and the ability to think on your feet. Based out of the Hanover, Maryland area, the Accounts Payable Lead will be a contract to hire opening.

Provide customer service to internal business partners
Handle daily department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it
Complete special projects on an as-needed basis
Carry out daily processes and controls accurately and on time, and ensure compliance with company policies
Organize, register, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents
Execute full-cycle A/P
Assist the AP/Finance Department with administrative tasks
Facilitate internal and external audits as needed
Manage the process of verifying, logging, and mailing checks, including expediting special handling
