Description
Robert Half has a new direct-hire opening for a Payroll Specialist just south of Baltimore. This is a position that offers strong benefits, room for growth and the ability to work with a very experienced team. If interested, please consider applying.
Responsibilities
Process full-cycle multi-state payroll
Contact employees via email and phone to collect timesheet approvals
Build and run custom reports
Assist in office efficiency by carrying out clerical duties such as filing, scanning, faxing, photocopying, etc.
Train and instruct employees in the proper use of payroll-related systems including entry of timesheets, online access of pay statements, etc.
Administer reports as instructed and make them easily accessible by distributing them
Fulfill other duties as assigned
Requirements
Attention to detail and proven ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement
Eagerness to master new systems
Previous payroll experience
Full Cycle Payroll experience
Outstanding data entry skills
Prior knowledge in Payroll software
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are a must
Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing
