Robert Half Sr. Software Engineer in Hanover, Maryland
Description We are seeking a Sr. Software Engineer for our team in the Health Pharm/Biotech industry based in Hanover, Maryland. Our focus is on cloud-based solutions, specifically in the AWS environment. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a diverse team and contribute to various technical projects. This is a contract to hire employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and implement cloud-based solutions on the AWS platform
• Assist in rewriting Angular portions of applications to their modern versions
• Participate in AI code generation projects and experiments
• Explore the use of GraphQL as an alternative to Rest API
• Work as a key contributor in a diverse technical team
• Contribute to the delivery of cloud-based solutions using AWS services such as AWS Lambda, AWS CodeDeploy, and Docker
• Utilize skills in object-oriented development, C Sharp Programming (C#), Go programming language, Web API, and Java
• Leverage experience with Oracle SQL, .Net, and Angular to enhance software solutions
• Act as a "jack of all trades" to handle various responsibilities within the team. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a software engineering role
• Demonstrated proficiency in Amazon Web Services (AWS), AWS CodeDeploy, and AWS Lambda
• Strong experience with Docker and Object Oriented Development
• Proven expertise in C Sharp Programming (C#) and Go programming language
• Significant experience with Web API and Java
• Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
• Experience in the Health Pharm/Biotech industry is a plus Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
