Description We are seeking a diligent and experienced individual for the role of a Senior Accountant located in Harahan, Louisiana. The selected candidate will be part of an esteemed organization in the telecom industry, and will be responsible for overseeing all accounting operational functions, consolidating financial data, and leading departmental staff. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the operations of the finance department, encompassing accounts payable, billings, collections, and payroll.

• Carry out month-end and year-end close of income statement and balance sheet, including account reconciliations and general ledger analysis.

• Prepare and present cash-flow reports, projecting cash needs at weekly and monthly intervals, and manage daily cash.

• Drive the timing for monthly billing and other cash management techniques to ensure timely cash collection.

• Present monthly financial reports to the executive committee and partners.

• Assist in the production of the annual budget and forecasts and monitor them on a monthly basis.

• Handle both high-level and day-to-day functions while working directly with the accounting/administration team, executive leaders, and operations.

• Utilize skills in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger, Journal Entries, Microsoft Excel, Month End Close, and NetSuite to carry out duties effectively. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation

• Understanding and experience with Balance Sheet Reconciliation

• Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations accurately

• Familiarity with General Ledger management

• Experience with Journal Entries creation and management

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Ability to complete Month End Close processes

• Experience with NetSuite software
