Robert Half HR Coordinator in Harbor City, California

Description We are offering an opportunity in Harbor City, California for a HR Coordinator. This role is pivotal in bolstering HR operations and improving HR processes, with a focus on recruiting, employee onboarding, compliance, performance management, and employee engagement. This job is based in a dynamic workplace environment, providing key support in various HR functions and playing a significant role in promoting a positive work culture.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate recruitment processes, from posting job openings to conducting preliminary interviews.

• Manage employee onboarding and offboarding, ensuring seamless transitions for incoming and outgoing staff.

• Serve as the first point of contact for employee relations, resolving issues and grievances to maintain a positive work environment.

• Implement and coordinate HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with labor laws and company standards.

• Maintain and manage accurate employee records, adhering to confidentiality and compliance with relevant regulations.

• Support performance management processes, including reviews, feedback sessions, and development plans.

• Administer employee benefits programs, addressing queries and coordinating with providers as needed.

• Foster a culture of inclusion, respect, and continuous improvement through employee engagement initiatives.

• Prepare and maintain HR reports, metrics, and dashboards to inform decision-making.

• Provide bilingual support, ensuring clear communication across both Spanish and English-speaking employees. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an HR Coordinator or similar role.

• Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now.

• Familiarity with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode.

• Experience with Ceridian, Dayforce and About Time software.

• Strong background in auditing and conducting background checks.

• Knowledge of benefit functions in a human resources capacity.

• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Proven ability to multitask and manage time effectively.

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field is preferred.

• Certification in Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or similar is a plus.
