Description
We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist based in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. The role primarily involves tasks related to accounts payable such as data entry of invoices, check processing, and matching invoices to checks. This role is based onsite and provides an opportunity to be part of a supportive 9-person team in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately inputting data for invoices
• Processing checks in a timely manner
• Matching copies of invoices to the corresponding checks
• Assisting with increased volume of work due to system implementation
• Collaborating with team members to ensure efficiency and accuracy
• Working within the designated schedule, with a focus on availability on Wednesdays and Thursdays
• Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures related to accounts payable
Requirements
• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) management
• Experience with check processing
• Strong data entry skills
• Ability to handle high volumes of invoices and payments
• Detail-oriented and capable of maintaining accurate financial records
