Robert Half Office Manager in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania

Description

The Office Manager will play a key role in maintaining the efficient operation of our office. This position will involve a range of administrative duties, including office organization, scheduling, communication, and supporting various operational aspects of our non-profit organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in non-profit work, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for supporting our mission.

  • Oversee the day-to-day office operations to ensure an organized and efficient work environment.

  • Maintain office supplies and manage inventory.

  • Coordinate and support the onboarding process for new staff and volunteers.

  • Coordinate logistics for meetings, events, and conferences (including virtual events), ensuring all materials are prepared and distributed.

  • Assist in planning and organizing fundraisers, donor events, and other programs related to the organization’s mission.

  • Manage the organization’s phone and email correspondence.

  • Assist with preparing newsletters, reports, and communication materials for stakeholders and donors.

    Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in office management, with at least 3 years of experience in a non-profit environment.

  • Strong understanding of non-profit operations, including familiarity with fundraising, grant reporting, and volunteer coordination.

  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills with a keen attention to detail.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and basic office equipment.

  • Experience with non-profit accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Blackbaud, DonorPerfect, Salesforce, etc.) is preferred.
