We are offering a position with our client for a Payroll Manager based in HARRISBURG, Pennsylvania. This role is responsible for overseeing and managing all payroll functions. You will ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in payroll operations while providing exceptional service to our employees.

Payroll Manager Responsibilities:

• Manage the end-to-end payroll process, including data entry, calculations, and disbursements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness

• Maintain payroll records and employee data in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements

• Stay current with payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws

• Coordinate with HR and other departments to ensure accurate employee information and resolve payroll-related issues

• Respond to inquiries from employees regarding payroll matters and provide excellent customer service

• Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management as needed

• Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to reconcile payroll accounts and ensure accuracy in financial reporting

• Continuously improve payroll processes and procedures to streamline operations and enhance efficiency

• Lead and develop payroll staff, providing guidance, training, and support as needed

  Requirements

• Proficiency in managing multi-state payroll operations

• Certification as a Payroll Professional (CPP) is preferred

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

• Knowledge of labor laws and regulations related to payroll.
