Payroll Specialist opportunity for a growing organization in the Harrisburg area offering a hybrid work schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify timesheet accuracy and process paychecks

• Compute employee wages, withhold taxes, and calculate other deductions

• Handle wage garnishments

• Input data correctly into payroll database and manage spreadsheets

• Keep organized and accurate payroll records

• Balance payroll accounts in the general ledger

• Compile and post journal entries and payroll transactions in our Accounting software

• Address employee inquires about payroll concerns effectively and amiably

Requirements

• Understanding of accounting fundaments and payroll best practices

• Organizational ability and attention to detail

• 2+ year experience processing payrolls

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred.
