Description
Robert Half is partnering with a Connecticut law firm located in the Greater Hartford area in their search for a Litigation Attorney. This direct hire role is fully in-office and candidates must hold an active Connecticut Bar license with no prior disciplinary actions.
Requirements
• Must have a Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Must be a licensed attorney in good standing with the Connecticut state bar
• A minimum of 2 years of experience practicing law, with a focus on civil and/or criminal litigation
• Proficient in all phases of litigation including trial, pretrial proceedings and discovery
• Ability to handle all aspects of civil litigation and criminal defense litigation
• Must have experience in plaintiff litigation and civil litigation
• Excellent negotiation, research, and communication skills are required
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• High ethical standards and professional integrity
• Must have strong analytical skills and the ability to think strategically
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Must be detail-oriented and have strong organizational skills
• Proficiency in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
