Robert Half Litigation Associate Attorney in Hartford, Connecticut

Description

Our mid-sized insurance defense firm client is seeking a dedicated litigation attorney to join their growing team in Hartford CT. Great benefits, pay and culture.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients in insurance defense and personal injury cases

  • Conduct detailed investigations to determine the legitimacy of clients' claims

  • Handle all phases of litigation from case inception through appeal

  • Devise effective litigation strategies according to the case-at-hand

  • Prepare and draft legal documents such as wills, deeds, contracts, etc.

  • Advocate for clients in court hearings, trials, and mediation meetings

  • Collaborate with senior attorneys to form a strong defense and mitigate potential liabilities.

    Requirements

Requirements:

  • Must have a Juris Doctorate (J.D) from an accredited law school

  • 3-5 years of experience as an insurance defense or personal injury attorney

  • Must be licensed to practice law in the state of Connecticut

  • Prior clerkship experience or experience working at another insurance defense or personal injury firm

  • Strong track record of success in previous legal cases.
