Our mid-sized insurance defense firm client is seeking a dedicated litigation attorney to join their growing team in Hartford CT. Great benefits, pay and culture.
Job Responsibilities:
Represent clients in insurance defense and personal injury cases
Conduct detailed investigations to determine the legitimacy of clients' claims
Handle all phases of litigation from case inception through appeal
Devise effective litigation strategies according to the case-at-hand
Prepare and draft legal documents such as wills, deeds, contracts, etc.
Advocate for clients in court hearings, trials, and mediation meetings
Collaborate with senior attorneys to form a strong defense and mitigate potential liabilities.
Requirements
Requirements:
Must have a Juris Doctorate (J.D) from an accredited law school
3-5 years of experience as an insurance defense or personal injury attorney
Must be licensed to practice law in the state of Connecticut
Prior clerkship experience or experience working at another insurance defense or personal injury firm
Strong track record of success in previous legal cases.
