Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Logistics Clerk in Hartford, Connecticut. This role is within the telecom provider industry where you will be responsible for maintaining adequate levels of unexpired supplies and ensuring their efficient delivery throughout the organization.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and maintain adequate levels of unexpired supplies for delivery.
• Rotate and par-level inventory in response to different departmental needs.
• Conduct cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Deliver supplies as needed throughout the organization.
• Collaborate effectively as a team member within the department to provide quality service.
• Communicate regularly with all departmental units to ensure smooth operations.
• Resolve any issues related to supply delivery and inventory management.
• Submit necessary reports and documentation related to inventory and supply delivery.
• Maintain a high standard of quality service in all tasks.
• Collaborate effectively with other team members to ensure efficient operations. Requirements • Proficiency in communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to conduct tasks with high levels of conductivity
• Evidence of effective collaboration in a team environment
• Proven experience in submission of detailed and accurate reports
• Commitment to providing quality service to internal and external stakeholders
• Experience in cycle count processes within a logistics environment
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
• Ability to multitask and prioritize work under tight deadlines
• High attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks
• Experience in a logistics or supply chain role is preferred
• Familiarity with logistics software or transport management systems is a plus.
