Robert Half is assisting a manufacturing client in the recruiting for an Accountant to join their company. In this role, you will performs routine accounting activities such as maintenance of the general ledger, preparation of various accounting statements and financial reports and accounts receivable functions. This position reports to the Finance Director. The company offers a competitive salary and benefits package with flexible schedule and hybrid capability to work a 2-3 days remote after training. This permanent employment opportunity is based in the Hartford, Wisconsin area.
Associates Degree in accounting preferred or business related field required
1+ years of accounting experience especially with Accounts Receivable functions
Comfortable working in a changing and dynamic environment
Solid understanding of account reconciliation
Practical knowledge of Journal Entry Preparation
Prior experience with cost analysis in manufacturing environment helpful
General familiarity with Sales Tax Returns
Intermediate to advanced MS Excel user required
