Robert Half VP/Director of Finance in Hartland, Wisconsin
Description Robert Half is looking for a Director of Finance to join our client! The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, management, technology, analytical, strategic planning, and communication skills as part of the management team. If you are an experienced VP/Director of Finance looking for a challenging role at an established company, this may be the role for you.
Your responsibilities
Assist in establishing short- and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures
Analyze and monitor forecasting and budgeting models
Develop financial analysis prior to contract negotiations and product investment decisions
Supervise risk and insurance management
Take the lead on all financial and accounting operations
Supervise all financial reporting preparation
Work with department managers to develop five-year business plans
Recommend benchmarks for measuring the financial and operating performance
Comply with local, state, and federal budgetary reporting requirements
Own financial planning and budget management functions
Manage the composition of financial outlooks and financial forecasts
Implement and maintain an organizational structure to effectively accomplish the departments goals and objectives
Oversee all hiring aspects of finance staff, including training and retention
Analyze monthly operating performance against budget Requirements
Efficiency in a variety of accounting and financial reporting systems
10+ years of finance and accounting experience
Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
Expert Microsoft Excel skills required
Expert understanding of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
High analytical and extremely detailed
