Description
We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller proficient in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central to oversee and manage financial operations for our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to leverage data from Microsoft Dynamics Business Central for strategic financial decision-making. This role is crucial for maintaining the financial health of the company and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Strategy and Management
Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow monitoring, and financial reporting.
Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
Provide insight and recommendations to both short- and long-term growth plans of the organization.
Accounting Operations
Manage the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Lead month-end and year-end close processes.
Ensure accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions are operating effectively and efficiently.
Microsoft Dynamics Business Central
Administer and optimize the use of the Microsoft Dynamics Business Central ERP system for financial processes, reporting, and analytics.
Collaborate with IT and other departments to integrate Business Central into broader business operations.
Troubleshoot and resolve financial system issues in collaboration with the IT team.
Compliance and Risk Management
Ensure compliance with all financial, tax, and accounting regulations.
Develop and monitor internal controls to safeguard organizational assets.
Oversee external audits and ensure all relevant documentation is accurate and available.
Leadership and Stakeholder Engagement
Manage and mentor the accounting team to enhance their professional development.
Partner with cross-functional teams, including HR, operations, and IT, to streamline financial processes.
Communicate financial performance and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
Requirements • Proficiency in using 3M
• Extensive knowledge of Accounting Software Systems
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services
• Skilled in using CRM
• Familiarity with Crystal Reports
• Ability to handle all Accounting Functions
• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP)
• Expertise in handling Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Proven experience in Auditing
• Familiarity with Budget Processes
