We are offering an excellent career opportunity for an Assistant Project Manager to work within a growing construction business, based in the Hauppauge, NY area. This in-office role will situate you within a welcoming Project Management team, and will provide learning / mentoring / and upward career growth options.

Responsibilities:

• organize and manage construction documents; communicate with well-run/staffed PM team in maintaining smooth progression of large-scale projects

• Utilize understanding of construction terminology and processes in day-to-day operations

• Contribute to a team-oriented, in-office environment

• Continually learn and apply new information relevant to the role

• Participate in commercial construction projects, utilizing skills in construction, construction documents, and construction drawings

Requirements

• Familiarity with handling Construction Documents and Construction Drawings

• Experience with Commercial Construction Projects

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills are necessary for success in this role

• Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Should have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet strict deadlines

• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in daily work

Interest in learning, and professional development, as well as ability to work well in a team environment

Salary is commensurate with skills and experience relevant to this specific role and may differ from range provided, depending on experience
