Senior Accountant
Anna Parson at Robert Half is seeking a keen, conscientious Senior Accountant with an excellent accounting foundation and REAL ESTATE industry experience to join a fast paced, growing Services client.
As the Senior Accountant, you will:
Create comprehensive financial statements, management reports and budget comparison reports for both internal and external use.
Supervise work prepared by team of bookkeepers and junior accountants.
Provide necessary support during the yearly financial audit.
Assess and approve bank reconciliations as well as journal entries.
Implement and oversee the accounting protocols and procedures for the firm's credit cards and online accounts.
Take on additional tasks and projects as required by the needs of the business.
Sr. Accountant should have a Bachelor degree in Accounting, excellent Excel skills, previous related accounting experience, with a desire to grow and make improvements.

Requirements - Self-starter and strong ethical standards
Experience in SOX control execution/documentation
BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred
Ability to prioritize deals and adapt to quick changes while remaining diligent, and to thrive in a dynamic, high pressure environment
Previous experience in public accounting is highly valued
Strong time management skills preferred
Vow to meet business deadlines
Excellent attention to detail
Current and relevant ERP system experience
5+ years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience
Comprehensive knowledge of month end closings
Proficiency in financial analysis
Experience with management reporting
Foundational knowledge in Investor reporting
Command of financial statement preparation
Proven knowledge of account reconciliation
General familiarity with journal entries
Well-founded grasp of bank reconciliations
Candidate must possess first-rate analytical, quantitative and social skills
Familiarity with corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required
Excellent oral and written communication skills
