Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable (AR) Clerk with experience in cash application and a background in the manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the daily operations of accounts receivable, ensuring accuracy in financial transactions, and supporting various accounting functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Daily Bank Deposits: Prepare and review daily bank deposits for accuracy.
Payment Application: Apply payments to open invoices in a timely and efficient manner.
Accounts Receivable Ledger: Assist in maintaining the accounts receivable ledger, including organizing and updating files and records.
Monthly Closings: Support monthly closing activities, including preparing journal entries and reconciling bank statements.
Special Projects: Assist with special projects related to accounts receivable and cash application as needed.
Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or accounting manager.

Requirements
Qualifications:
Proven experience in accounts receivable and cash application, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions.
Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
