Boutique employment law firm has an immediate opening for a contract Attorney! This contract Attorney will join a small team of lawyers and support staff, focusing on employee side litigation claims. The firm is seeking a contract Attorney to assist with an overflow of cases and will be responsible for case analysis, developing case strategy, drafting motions, and discovery management. If you're looking for remote work on a contract basis, this is the position for you! The ideal candidate will be able to work at least 30 hours per week; a flexible schedule will be provided. Attorneys with a minimum of 3+ years of civil litigation experience are encouraged to apply; you must hold an active CA Bar license for consideration.
Review cases directly after intake phase to assess feasibility
Develop case strategy
Draft complaints and various other motions and pleadings
Conduct legal research
Projects as assigned
Minimum of 3+ years of civil litigation experience
Must hold an active CA Bar license for consideration
Ability to work 30-40 hours per week
Ability to work remotely
Strong attention to detail
Great communication skills, both written and verbal
