Description
One of our clients is looking for a Sr Accountant for a Contract to permanent placement opportunity.

Responsibilities:
Daily reconciliation receipt of goods
Reconciling inventory monthly
Variance analysis
Standard costs vs. production cost
Close inventory to help monitor costs
Support Mont End Close
Reconcile GL Accounts
MS Excel: Advanced – V Lookups and Pivots – large database
Requirements
• Possess a minimum of 5 years experience in a senior accountant role
• Demonstrated proficiency in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, Bank Reconciliations, and General Ledger.
• Ability to prepare and analyze Journal Entries.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to utilize advanced functions.
• Experience in Month End Close procedures and reporting.
• Knowledge of Cost Accounting principles and processes.
• Expertise in Manufacturing Cost Accounting, with a focus on food and food processing costs.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is required
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team.
• Demonstrate ethical behavior and compliance with industry regulations and standards.
