Description

We are offering a role for an Accounts Payable Analyst/Specialist the the Monmouth County, NJ area. This role focuses on processing invoices, generating billings, and ensuring accuracy and efficiency in a high-volume environment.

Responsibilities:

• Accurate and efficient processing of incoming invoices and generation of billings

• Collaborate with various teams including project managers, purchasing, and accounts payable to ensure correct coding of vendor invoices into specific accounting codes

• Conduct monthly reconciliation of assigned general ledger accounts

• Daily review and processing of income invoices

• Execute monthly vendor audits

• Handle customer disputes regarding charges and provide explanations

• Prepare billing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends

• Ensure timely and accurate processing of customer invoices and adjustments through oversight of the billing function

• Update and maintain customer profiles for accurate service and billing

• Assist in customer communications as needed to ensure timely receipt of payments

• Identify potential billing issues, recommend and implement process improvements

• Work on special projects independently or as part of a team, as needed.

Requirements

• Proficiency in handling Accounts Payable (AP) is required

• Experience in managing high-volume invoicing is essential

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are necessary

• Good communication and interpersonal skills are required

• Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel

• Knowledge of billing regulations and procedures in the retail sector

• Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines

• High level of integrity and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
