Description
Robert Half is working with a local organization on staffing a dedicated and empathetic Customer Service Representative to join their healthcare team. The ideal candidate will support their patients by providing vital information and support regarding medical bills and the financial assistance options available to them.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality customer service to patients, assisting them with queries about medical bills, insurance coverages, payment options, and other financial matters.
Help patients understand their bills and decipher what their insurance covers.
Educate patients about the various financial assistance programs available and guide them through the application process.
Work closely with the billing department and insurance agencies, ensuring optimal communication and resolution of issues.
Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
A minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service; healthcare sector experience is a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong empathy and patience in dealing with the concerns of patients and their families.
Proficiency in handling and resolving complex issues.
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on providing accurate and reliable information.
Must possess a strong understanding of healthcare billing systems and medical terminologies.
Candidates should be comfortable with traveling to Allentown, PA for the first 4 weeks for training.
Mileage will be reimbursed.
Hours: 8:30a-4:30pm
