Description
We are an industry-leading company seeking to hire an enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and pleasantly persistent Assistant Purchasing/Inventory Specialist to join our fast-paced team!
Reporting directly to the Planning/Material Manager, the successful candidate will play a vital role in the execution of supply chain and inventory functions, supporting our mission to provide superior products and excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
Assist in handling raw material scheduling and purchasing.
Be responsible for managing inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels to support operational needs.
Establish and maintain positive relationships with vendors and suppliers.
Flexibility in addressing inventory-related issues, executing change orders as required.
Support the Planning/Material Manager in daily operational tasks.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain or a related field.
2-4 years of relevant experience in the supply chain or manufacturing industry.
Demonstrable experience with purchasing ERP systems and supply chain procedures.
Proficiency in MS Excel and data management.
Excellent communication, numerical, and organizational skills.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to operate in a fast-paced, team-oriented work environment.
